Save Malaysia

Just the day before the Keadilan National Congress started in Kota Bahru, Kelantan, on the 29th May, 2010, Datuk Seri Idris Jala made a press release that Malaysia will go bankrupt by 2012 if the governement subsidy on certain goods are not discontinued.

The announcment came as a bombshell. It cause uproars on both divides of the political division. Pakatan says that the subsidy should not be withdrawn because it will affect the poor. Instead Pakatan leaders want the subsidy to the rich like the AP and IPP be withdrawn. This make sense because subsidy is meant for the poor, not the rich. But in this case, the proposal is the reverse.

The BN on the other hand, decry that such an opinion is to far fetch. This brings us to the normal operation that politician thinks that they always know the best. They like to be smarter than the experts.

But the interesting thing that happened at the same time is that, just as the government announced its financial standing, Parti keadilan Rakyat came up with a new slogan "Selamatkan Malaysia". It don't think this is a coincidence and neither is it based on prior informations.

From the way the government is running its election campaign, they have been throwing away the tax payers money like throwing rubbish around; As if there is no limit to their treasury.

The point is that, so long as the BN is still in power there is no way that Malaysia can be saved. Ever since the economic crisis of the late 1990s, Malaysia has never fully recovered economically. It has since then been a downhill trend.

Now, with all shorts jokers trying to fix the government, there is no hope that Malaysia can be saved. It is on the road to a doomed and failed state. This is even more true because any attempts by the BN government to reform and change is suicidal. BN government had always survived and thrived on corrption, fund wastage and leaking and all sorts of malpractices.

It is timely that Keadilan is now on a new mission to save Malaysia from a doomed and failed state.

It is therefore every sensible Malaysians' duty to support Keadilan & Pakatan Rakyat Coalition to save Malaysia.
