Dayaks Lacks Element of Smartness!!

Finally someone from the Dayak community now admits that the community lacks the element of smartness. Call this humility or sheer lack of caution of the repercussion on the maker is for time to tell. What is most astounding is that, this general statement would also refer to the one who said it out; not just the opposite side of the divide.

On one note it sounds very degrading to the Dayak community. But on the other hand, it reflects the general attitude of the community on itself. The community relealise that there is something missing within but could not identify what it is. We look around for scapegoat for the weakness and the backwardness of the community. In the end we play the accusing game. We accused all the others as not good except those who do the scolding.

This is why our leaders always breakloose. They tend to have the habit of scolding the community if there is something affecting the community. Leaders are like fathers. They should know better than the children. Being in the position, it is all up to them to bring up the family. Any failure should not fell squarely on the children.

Political leaders must learn to accept responsisbility towards the people. When the people are backward please do not berrate the poor folks who barely make ends meet. The leaders, after accumulating so much wealth from being in power must learn to appreciate the trust and support of the people.

Therefore, if there is no element of smartness in the Dayak community, it fell on the leaders. Any lacking in the community is due to the lacking of those in leadership. "We reap what we sow" is what the proverbs says.
